the neverending search
While in the Philippines, I received my final grade in my final class. I'm thrilled to be finished the Adult & Continuing Ed program and when I return home, I'll be moving on to the next phase of the education plans. Commencement is held once a year, so the official graduation won't take place until June 9, 2006.
My transcripts have arrived and I am graduating with Honours *go me*. My boss Dana rocks and has approved my vacation request for the 9th so I can attend my commencement. Drew has also requested and received the day off so he will be there as well. Hopefully we can get out hands on a vidoe camera so we can tape the proceedings and send them home for mom and dad to see.
Yep, something radically changed.. my spring plans of attending a distance ed program through RMC have to be put on hold for a few months. I couldn't apply without copies of all my transcripts and despite applying for my official transcript from the U of A in January, it wasn't sent out to me until mid-April. By the time the process is finished, it'll be too late to register for summer session so now it appears that I'll be waiting until fall to start the cycle again.
